American Psychological Association (APA) style is particularly used for writing psychology papers. Other Sociology, Business, Economics, Social work and Criminology papers can also be written in APA style.
APA style mostly refers to writing according to a formula of sorts. General guidelines for writing an APA style are, there should be one inch margin on top, bottom, left and right hand side of paper. The font should be Times Roman or Courier and size should be 12-pt. Double line spacing should be provided throughout the
research paper. The page number appears one inch from the right edge of the paper on the first line of every page, beginning with the title page. Try to use active voice rather than passive voice. Order of pages is as follows: Title Page, Abstract, Body, References, Appendixes, Footnotes, Tables, Figure captions, Figures.
