Many college students are asked to write formal or informal paper. Lets find out a little bit of both the papers. A formal paper consists of research paper, term paper and book reports. Active voice is used when writing these papers. It’s also important to use viable resources. If the paper is about Tibet your best friend who read about Tibet will probably not be the best source. The best sources would be from PhD's and other research professionals. Research professionals have been trained to research is such a way that the information they gather is clean and clear. An informal paper can be a write-up, journal entry or a personal paper. These papers can be written in first voice. It is fun to prepare these papers because they give you an opportunity to speak your mind.
